And the winner is...

Our sweet Rosanna has won! I have admired Rosanna's exquisite work and impeccable style ever since I started this "miniature" journey. Her miniature handiwork is perfection and I am honored to say that some of her pieces reside at The Little Pink House. They are my most treasured mini items! So, are you wondering what Rosanna has won?The 1:1 item is a vintage apron with hand-stitched smocking that I found at my favorite little antique store, The Red Door. I love smocking-- it reminds me of the dresses I had as a child!
The 1:12 item is a little beach bag that I made. I'm a little shy about sending it to Rosanna, because she has made some straw baskets that are absolutely divine. I'm still quite a newbie as far as actually making things. I'm very good a buying things. :)
This is a close-up of the hand-stitched smocking-- isn't it fun?! Rosanna, please send me your mailing info, as I have lost it. I'm so excited that your name was chosen and that these gifts will be making their way to you in Italy!

Hugs,

Jill,
Hi, I just found your blog, and I can't believe how incredible it is! U was just given my first little cottage dollhouse kit and I can't wait to build it! I am a lover of the 1940's-1950's and I am going to try to decorate the house in that style. Please come by some time and say hello! Sandy
