I did it. My birthday isn't until next month but I ordered my early birthday gift! It's the KitchenAid Professional 600 6qt 575 Watt Stand Mixer in Pearl Metallic. Isn't it a beauty? I ordered it from my good friends at QVC. That website is just too convenient!I'm excited that I'll receive it in time for my holiday baking! Using this new mixer will be so much easier than using my old hand mixer! I've been wanting one of these forever. I can't wait to mix cookie dough, cupcake batter, and all manner of yummy goodness to share with my friends this fall!

I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE IT !!!!! I have been dreaming it for a long time now but it's so d....d expensive overhere that I always give up the idea. Mine should be pink or apple green. I have one in mini and I have to make do with it. Hugs Rosanna

I am sooooo envious Jill. I bake a lot and my cake mixer (a Kenwood that was my mothers) gave up last week and had to be thrown out. I saw a row of colourful Kitchen Aid's (not a brand we see much) in a shop here and went to take a look at the price - $1000. I've just looked at the website you went to and that means taking into account the exchange rate they are at least double the price you pay!
Guess I'll be using a wooden spoon for my Christmas baking!

Well Jill, I am just surprised Grandma never made you get one of these! She just loves hers and says she can't live without it! I want one too although I don't have much time for baking these days...perhaps I will get one in a couple of years!
