Anyway, the residents at the nursing homes love him! Some of them even want him to lay on their beds next to them, and he's always happy to do so. I find that the people that love him the most are the ones that have had to give up their own dogs when they transitioned to long term care. I'm happy to share Haggie with them-- he's got lots of love to spread around!

Meet Hagrid...

He's such a cutie!! What a win-win situation for everyone. Love and comfort being shared by all. I think Kodak would have made a good therapy dog . . until he learned a few of Hannah's bad habits, ha ha ha Give Haggie a tummy rub from me!! :)
I want to kiss Hagrid. Jill he is so adorable. I love your picture of him. Thanks for sharing. Big squeezes for you both. :O)
Haggie is beautiful! I love his smiley face! I bet that he makes a lot of people at your work smile when they see him too.
He is so cute!! Can he see?? :D
Please bring Hagrid over here! He's SUCH a sweetie! Look at his little beard and mustache! Is he named after hagrid from Harry Potter?
Thanks so much for the sweet comments about Hagrid! Just to answer a few questions... yes, he can see-- now that he's had a haircut! (I knew it was time, when I saw him running into things!) And yes, he is named after Hagrid, the gentle giant (loyal to the end) from the Harry Potter series. :)
PS: Haggie sends kisses xxx
Too funny! Loopy and I had a Cairn Terrier (like Toto from the Wizard of Oz) and his name was HAGGIS!
