Meet Hagrid...

Yes, this is my baby boy, Hagrid Jack Patrick, otherwise known as Haggie, Haggie-Jack, Hagimus Maximus, Hagus, and Boo-boo. He will be two years old on September 9th, and I think he weighs around 70lbs. He loves to go in the car, go to the dog park, go on walks, and go to work! Yes, I get to take him to work! I work at two nursing homes and an adult day health center. He gets to go to the nursing homes. He's been banned from the day center, but that's a long story...
Anyway, the residents at the nursing homes love him! Some of them even want him to lay on their beds next to them, and he's always happy to do so. I find that the people that love him the most are the ones that have had to give up their own dogs when they transitioned to long term care. I'm happy to share Haggie with them-- he's got lots of love to spread around!

He's such a cutie!! What a win-win situation for everyone. Love and comfort being shared by all. I think Kodak would have made a good therapy dog . . until he learned a few of Hannah's bad habits, ha ha ha Give Haggie a tummy rub from me!! :)

Please bring Hagrid over here! He's SUCH a sweetie! Look at his little beard and mustache! Is he named after hagrid from Harry Potter?

Thanks so much for the sweet comments about Hagrid! Just to answer a few questions... yes, he can see-- now that he's had a haircut! (I knew it was time, when I saw him running into things!) And yes, he is named after Hagrid, the gentle giant (loyal to the end) from the Harry Potter series. :)
PS: Haggie sends kisses xxx

Too funny! Loopy and I had a Cairn Terrier (like Toto from the Wizard of Oz) and his name was HAGGIS!
