A Mini-earthquake

The other day I went out to The Playroom (aka studio) and looky what I found. Meg must have experienced a little earthquake of sorts! Actually, what happened is that her upper cabinets became unattached to the wall and knocked the sink around and made a mess. You see, I've never been too committed to the white card stock on the wall, so I just mounted the cabinets with putty. Add into the mix that The Little Pink House sits in a studio that's actually a sun room with no climate control and this is what happens. Not to mention, every wood floor in the house warped this winter also.
Looks like Meg might get that re-model that she's been wanting...
On the brighter side... her little bedroom looks still intact. What? What's that book on the nightstand?

It's Eclipse, of course! Meg's a big fan of the Twilight series-- she has all the books. She thought she might just read the book again before the movie opens. The movie is opening at midnight tomorrow. I'll be asleep in my bed then, but I'm planning on seeing it this weekend with my mom. (We won't make my dad go this time. It was understandably miserable for him last time!)
Are you going?

Hugs,

I am so glad sweet Meg wasn't injured! Actually there was a small earthquake is SF so it may have contributed to the putty coming off! Love Meg's new room, glad to see you put the floral playing card to good use, it looks pefect on the mantle! XO!!

Poor Meg, having to cope with things falling down in the kitchen!

No, I'm not into the Twilight series (is that the name?) My sister tried to get me to read the books, but I think I exhausted that genre when I was reading Anne Rice in the 80's.

Oh poor Meg...but she gets a new remodel so life will be peachy again.

My 18 year old son is a Twilight fan and is going to hit the movie tonight. Even bought a new Eclipse shirt to wear...what a quirky kid!

oh no Meg! I hope she has some nice friends to help her out so she won't have to hire contractors! I'll have to wait for dvd to see the new Twilight film. Hubby went with to the first one and said that it was pretty ridiculous. I loved it, of course, and told him I thought Die Hard was ridiculous. Still, don't think I'll subject him to it again since he's nice enough to watch Die Hard when I'm not around. Have a wonderful day Jill- are you blogging to tell us what you think about the movie?

That miniature book is just TOO cute for words! Yes, I am a fan, but haven't made it to the movie yet. Poor Meg...she will have to take some time off from kitchen duties :)

Meg's house is just darling! She's got a great excuse to stay out of the kitchen for a while! ... Is she Team Edward or Team Jacob??? :) Paulette

Jill! I love that you have Eclipse in miniature! Your earthquake reminds me of a real earthquake we had in the early 70's here in California. I remember my Mother telling me my parents bed rolled across the room. What I also remember was how my dollhouse looked very much like yours does, with everything all askance... Even dolls shake now and then.
Lovely rooms!
